More about this game
In Clay Cloud Hop Relay, your goal is to carry the relay flag across five stages of floating platforms. You must time your jumps between moving clouds and grab up to three flags per stage before the 45-second timer runs out. As you progress, clouds move in circles or fade away entirely. If you fall or run out of time, you lose a heart and return to the last checkpoint. Lose all three hearts, and the relay is over.
Tips
- Holding the jump button gives you extra air time, which is essential for reaching higher flags or skipping smaller clouds.
- In the 5th stage, Misty Quickstep, watch the clouds carefully; they become non-solid when they fade, so time your jumps perfectly.
- You earn a higher final rank by collecting all 15 flags, keeping your 3 hearts, and finishing as fast as possible.
FAQ
- What happens if I fall off a cloud?
- You will lose one of your three starting hearts and respawn at the last checkpoint you passed. If you lose all your hearts, the game is over.
- Why did I suddenly fall through a cloud?
- In later stages, some clouds are made of mist. They fade in and out on a cycle, and when they are mostly transparent, they become non-solid.
- How is the final rank calculated?
- Your rank (from C up to S) is based on a score that combines the total flags collected, your remaining hearts, and how fast you completed the five stages.
