More about this game

You evaluate three charismatic figures by reading short scenarios and making choices that test their consistency. Your decisions affect your Trust and Heart meters, which start at 35 and 75 respectively. You must gather evidence by choosing actions that test their stories rather than blindly applauding. A run ends after seven chapters when you select one person to trust; choosing the consistently reliable character with enough evidence wins the game.

Tips

  • Holding a portrait for 900 milliseconds when the hint appears grants 10 Trust points and adds a piece of evidence.
  • Choosing to believe a perfect story without proof will cost you 14 Heart points.
  • You need at least 3 pieces of evidence and 2 consistent actions from Sam to get the best ending.

FAQ

How do I get evidence?
You gain evidence by choosing options that test a hero's story against their actions, or by holding their portrait when the game asks you to look beneath the glow.
What happens if I lose Heart?
You lose 14 Heart points when you choose to protect a pedestal or believe a flawless promise without proof, which represents the emotional cost of betrayal.
How do I win the game?
You win by choosing Sam in the final chapter, provided you have gathered at least 3 pieces of evidence and observed Sam's consistent actions at least twice.
