More about this game
In Hexbound, you are a heroic mage facing the Demon Lord in a series of six rituals. Your character auto-fires magic bolts while you focus on dodging incoming projectiles, slashes, and dives. After surviving each ritual, you choose hex upgrades like multishot, homing shots, or chain lightning to strengthen your attacks. The Demon Lord's health and attack speed increase with each round. A run ends when your health reaches zero or you complete the final ritual.
Tips
- Use your barrier right before a giant fireball or dark storm hits to block the heavy damage.
- Stacking the Fire Element upgrade increases both burn damage and the size of the explosion.
- The Demon Lord's attacks get faster in later rituals, so prioritize movement speed or attack speed upgrades.
FAQ
- How do I heal?
- You recover 50% of your maximum health after completing each ritual. You can also choose the Mending Hex upgrade to recover 25% health immediately.
- What does the Thorns upgrade do?
- The Thorns upgrade allows your barrier to absorb hits, reflect damage back to the Demon Lord, and heal you slightly.
- How many rituals are there?
- There are six rituals in total. The Demon Lord gains new attacks like slashes and giant fireballs in later rounds.
