More about this game
In Treasure Button Race, your goal is to tap the glowing floor switch before its light fades. Matching the active rune opens a chest and adds 100 base points to your score, building a combo for bonus points. As the 60-second timer ticks down, the game difficulty ramps up, shrinking your reaction window from 1.5 seconds to 0.85 seconds. Tapping the wrong switch or letting the light fade costs you one of your three hearts. The run ends when you lose all three hearts or the 60 seconds run out.
Tips
- Focus on the shrinking white light ring around the active switch to gauge exactly how much time you have left before the rune fades.
- Build a combo to increase your score rapidly; every consecutive correct tap adds a 20-point bonus to the 100-point base score.
- Don't rush blindly into a tap; hitting the wrong switch triggers a trap, costing you a heart and completely resetting your combo multiplier to zero.
FAQ
- How do I score points?
- You score points by tapping the glowing floor switch before its light fades. Each correct tap gives you a base score of 100 points, plus an additional 20 points for every consecutive correct match in your combo.
- What happens if I tap the wrong switch?
- Tapping the wrong switch triggers a trap, costing you one of your three hearts and resetting your combo to zero. If you lose all three hearts, the 60-second party challenge ends immediately.
- Does the game get faster?
- Yes, as the 60-second timer ticks down, the difficulty ramps up. The time you have to tap the correct switch shrinks from an initial 1.5 seconds down to just 0.85 seconds near the end of the round.
