More about this game
In Black Tile Blitz, your primary goal is to tap every black square that appears on the playfield before its individual timer runs out. White squares will also spawn alongside them, and you must avoid touching these completely. The core loop requires constant attention, as the game gets progressively harder the longer you survive. Specifically, the speed level increases every five seconds, which causes new tiles to spawn much faster and their lifespans to decrease significantly. A run ends immediately if you accidentally tap a white square, or if you let a black square's timer reach zero.
Tips
- Watch the circular timer drawn around each black tile. Always prioritize tapping the ones with the least amount of time left to avoid a game over.
- The game's speed level increases every 5 seconds. Be prepared for tiles to spawn much faster and expire much quicker as your run progresses past the first few levels.
- Do not rush your taps when the screen gets crowded. Accidentally hitting a white tile ends the run instantly, so accuracy is just as important as your reaction speed.
FAQ
- How does the game get harder over time?
- The speed level increases every 5 seconds you survive. As the level goes up, new tiles spawn more frequently and their lifespans become significantly shorter, requiring much faster reactions to stay alive.
- What happens if I miss tapping a black tile?
- If a black tile's circular timer runs out before you manage to tap it, the run ends immediately. You must successfully tap every single black tile that spawns to keep your current run going.
- Is there a limit to how many tiles can appear?
- Yes, the game will only spawn a maximum of 7 tiles on the screen at any given time. This limit helps keep the playfield manageable even when you reach the highest speed levels.
