More about this game
In Chrono Shift, your goal is to survive as long as possible while steering a golden orb through falling neon hazards. The core loop involves dragging to dodge obstacles and grazing them to trigger near-miss combos for extra points. As you play, the obstacle speed and spawn rate increase every 15 seconds. You can hold the screen to slow time, draining your Chrono meter, which recharges when released. A run ends instantly if your orb collides with any hazard.
Tips
- Stay close to hazards to trigger near-misses, which can boost your combo up to 9x for massive points.
- Watch your Chrono meter at the top; it caps at 100 and drains quickly, so only slow time when trapped.
- Hazards spawn faster and move quicker every 15 seconds, so practice short time-shifts to conserve your meter.
FAQ
- How do I get a higher score?
- You earn points over time, but grazing hazards triggers a near-miss. This builds a combo up to 9x, adding 100 points multiplied by your combo for each close call.
- Why does time slow down?
- Holding the screen activates your Chrono Shift, slowing time to 30% speed. This helps you dodge dense hazard clusters, but it drains your Chrono meter.
- How do I recharge my Chrono meter?
- Release the screen to stop slowing time. Your Chrono meter will automatically recharge up to its capacity of 100 while time flows normally.
