More about this game
In Cat Loop Studio, your goal is to mix catchy neon loops and name your custom beats. The core loop involves tapping eight different sound pads—like kick, snare, hi-hat, and meow—to layer audio over a continuous four-step sequence. You can adjust the tempo from a slow 70 BPM up to a fast 160 BPM and mute individual tracks to change the vibe. There is no end or fail state; you simply experiment with combinations, watch the cat speaker pulse to the beat, and save your mix when ready.
Tips
- Start with a simple kick and snare combination on the four-step sequence before adding the meow or synth pads to avoid overwhelming the beat.
- Use the individual mute buttons to quickly drop sounds in and out during playback, creating dynamic drops without losing your active pad configuration.
- Adjust the tempo slider to see how your mix sounds at the default 112 BPM versus the maximum speed of 160 BPM for different energy levels.
