More about this game
In this interactive narrative, you move between Ian's apartment in 2026 and a 1998 television studio. Your goal is to collect exactly 3 truths by interacting with 4 memory anchors: a VHS tape, a sketchbook, a studio camera, and a family photo. You must select dialogue choices reflecting accountability rather than defensiveness. The story shifts timelines based on your decisions, sometimes triggering visual distortion effects. A run ends when you reach the epilogue by holding all 3 truths, or when prompted to restart.
Tips
- Pay attention to the helper text below the dialogue box for hints on which choice listens most closely to Lisa's perspective.
- Choices outlined in gold indicate a path toward accountability and collecting one of the 3 truths. The primary choice button has a transition speed of 260 milliseconds.
- If you miss a truth, you will be prompted to return to the tape and choose differently at the end, resetting your truth count to 0.
FAQ
- How do I find the memory anchors?
- Anchors appear as glowing circles with a default size of 108 pixels over objects like the camera or family photo. They only show up when they can be interacted with.
- What happens if I make the wrong choice?
- You will continue the story but miss out on collecting a truth. The game will ask you to reflect and try again at the end, clearing your 3 truths.
- Can I turn off the visual distortion?
- The distortion speed (default 1.0) and overload intensity (default 0.72) are tied to the story's sensory overload moments, but motion can be reduced via your system's reduced motion settings.
