More about this game
In Cube Capture: Fresh Grid, your goal is to claim more territory than the computer opponent within a strict 60-second match. You control a cube that paints tiles as it moves across a 10x10 grid. The core loop involves navigating the board, claiming empty tiles, and stealing tiles from your rival. Power-ups spawn periodically, granting temporary speed boosts or instant area captures. The game ends when the 60-second timer runs out, and the player with the highest percentage of captured tiles wins the round.
Tips
- Prioritize grabbing the speed power-up (yellow icon), as it increases your movement speed by 1.85x for exactly 4.2 seconds.
- The area power-up (purple icon) instantly captures a 3x3 grid around your cube, perfect for quickly stealing opponent territory.
- Power-ups spawn every 5.5 seconds, so keep an eye on the board and plan your path to grab them before the opponent does.
