More about this game

Minimalist Sketchpad is a straightforward sandbox drawing tool where you can create whatever you like on a blank digital paper. The core loop involves selecting your preferred brush settings and dragging across the screen to lay down continuous lines. You can adjust your brush by selecting any color from the palette and changing the thickness size from 4 to 88 using the slider. The interface tracks exactly how many strokes you make. There is no winning, just an open space to sketch until you clear the canvas.

Tips

  • Use a brush size of 4 for fine details and outlines, then increase the slider up to 88 for filling large background areas quickly.
  • Keep an eye on the stroke counter at the top left to see exactly how many individual lines you have drawn on the current canvas.
  • Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl plus Backspace to instantly clear your drawing and reset the stroke counter to 0 without having to click the button.

FAQ

How do I change the brush size?
Use the slider located at the bottom of the screen next to the color swatch. You can adjust the brush size anywhere from a minimum of 4 up to a maximum of 88.
Can I erase a specific part of my drawing?
No, there is no dedicated eraser tool in this game. You can only clear the entire canvas and reset your stroke count to 0 by pressing the Clear button or using the Ctrl plus Backspace shortcut.
What does the number at the top of the screen mean?
The number at the top left corner counts the total number of individual strokes you have made on the current canvas. It resets back to 0 strokes whenever you clear the paper.
