More about this game
In this detective puzzle, you track a thief across 26 global case files to recover stolen artifacts. Each case gives you a strict day limit, ranging from 12 days on Easy to just 7 days on Master difficulty. You spend days to investigate crime scenes, question witnesses, and follow cryptic clues to the next city. The run ends when you successfully issue an arrest warrant by matching the suspect's hair, vehicle, and hobby in the final city, or when you run out of days.
Tips
- Investigating and asking witnesses each cost 1 day. Always read the clues carefully, because traveling to the wrong city costs a heavy 2-day penalty.
- Pay close attention to the suspect traits revealed by witnesses. Issuing a bad warrant with incorrect traits in the final city will cost you 2 days.
- Master difficulty only gives you 7 days to catch the thief. You must be highly efficient with your actions and avoid unnecessary investigations to succeed.
FAQ
- How do I know where to travel next?
- Read the clues gathered from investigating and asking witnesses. They will hint at the landmarks, culture, geography, and currency of the next city without naming it directly.
- What happens if I run out of days?
- If you exceed the day limit for the case, the trail goes cold, the thief crosses another border, and you lose the current run.
- How do I unlock higher difficulties and ranks?
- You must clear two cases in the previous difficulty to unlock the next one. Clearing cases also promotes your rank, up to Commander at 22 clears.
