About Battle of the Beasts

Leap across platforms and blast waves of shadow monsters with auto-aiming spectral shots to conquer the fallen citadel.

How to play

  1. Select a game mode from the main menu to enter the arena.
  2. Move and jump across the platforms while holding the shoot button to fire auto-aiming projectiles at the nearest enemy.
  3. Watch for red warning zones and dash out of the way before blood meteors strike the ground.
  4. Defeat the required number of enemies to summon the Shadow Colossus boss.
  5. Collect dropped Spirit Shards and spend them at the Veiled Merchant between levels.

Your goal is to survive escalating waves of shadow beasts across three different modes: a 5-level campaign, an endless brawl, or a high-difficulty challenge. You start with 180 health and must defeat a set number of enemies to trigger a boss fight against a Shadow Colossus. Between levels, you can spend collected Spirit Shards on temporary boons like extra armor plates or faster firing. The run ends if your health drops to zero, but you keep your shards to unlock permanent upgrades.

Tips

  • Your dash grants a brief moment of invulnerability, making it perfect for dodging through enemy attacks or meteor strikes.
  • Save your ultimate ability, which charges over 12 seconds, to clear the screen when you are surrounded by multiple foes.
  • Dread Knights take 70 percent less damage from the front, so dash behind them before shooting.

How do I heal my character?
Defeating a boss drops a health potion that restores 28 health. You can also buy the Soul Mending boon for 5 shards between levels to restore 70 health.
What do Spirit Shards do?
Spirit Shards are used to buy temporary upgrades between levels, and they also accumulate to unlock permanent account rewards like a 25 health boost or a 20 percent damage increase.
How does the ultimate ability work?
The ultimate meter fills up automatically over 12 seconds. When activated, it unleashes an Eclipse Blast that damages all enemies on the screen.
