More about this game
In Rock Dodge, your goal is to survive as long as possible by avoiding falling rocks. You control a small pod at the bottom of the screen, steering left and right. As time passes, your score increases automatically by ten points every second. The game gets harder over time, with rocks falling faster and spawning more frequently. A single hit from a rock ends your run, so you must stay alert and react quickly to find the safe gaps.
Tips
- Keep your pod moving to stay ahead of the falling rocks, as they can drop at speeds over 210 units per second.
- Watch the top of the screen to anticipate where rocks will fall, since they spawn rapidly every 0.32 to 0.86 seconds.
- Don't get trapped in the corners; try to stay near the center when possible so you can move left or right quickly.
FAQ
- How do I score points?
- Your score increases automatically as you survive. You get exactly 10 points for every second you stay alive, so focusing entirely on dodging is the only way to get a high score.
- Does the game get harder?
- Yes, as time passes, the rocks fall faster and spawn more frequently. The spawn delay decreases from 0.86 seconds down to a minimum of 0.32 seconds, making it much harder to dodge them.
- Can I take multiple hits?
- No, a single hit from a falling rock will end your run immediately. Your pod has a fixed collision size, so even grazing a rock will result in a game over.
