More about this game
In Crown Guard: Merge Tactics, you protect your kingdom's crown from descending enemy waves. You spend gold to spawn random tier-one units onto the grid. Dragging two identical tier-one or tier-two units together merges them into a much stronger fighter. Units automatically attack targets in their range, with some dealing splash damage or slowing enemies. As time passes, enemy health scales up and bosses appear. If enemies reach the bottom, your crown loses health. A run ends if your crown falls and you fail to recover during the grace period.
Tips
- Keep your kill chain alive. Defeating eight enemies in a row without taking any crown damage rewards you with a bonus of nine gold.
- Merging two tier-two units creates a tier-three legend. The resulting legend depends on the traits of the merged units, like area-of-effect or armor-piercing.
- When your crown health hits zero, a grace period of thirty seconds triggers. You receive 42 gold and two free high-tier units to help you recover.
FAQ
- How do I survive the grace period?
- During the grace period of thirty seconds, your crown has zero health. You must defeat enemies to heal your crown back above 18 health before the timer runs out, or the run ends.
- How much gold do enemies drop?
- Normal enemies drop 7 gold, armored enemies drop 12, swarm enemies drop 5, and bosses drop 38. You also get a bonus 9 gold for every eight consecutive kills.
- What do the different unit types do?
- Swords deal high melee damage, bows pierce through multiple targets, shields slow enemies down, and horses deal splash damage to groups. Upgraded units combine these traits for stronger effects.
