More about this game
Your goal is to protect the crown at the bottom of the screen from descending enemy waves. You spend gold earned from defeating monsters to spawn basic units on the grid. The core loop involves dragging two identical units together to merge them into a stronger, higher-tier defender. As time passes, armored foes, swarms, and bosses appear to test your defenses. A run ends if your crown loses all 100 health points and you fail to recover during the 30 grace seconds.
Tips
- Merge two tier-two units with different traits to target specific legendary fighters, like combining tank and control units for the Legend Rock.
- Save your clear button cooldown for when the board is full of tier-one units, as it instantly converts them into at least 12 gold.
- During the 30 grace seconds, focus entirely on killing enemies quickly, as boss kills restore 16 health points to your crown.
FAQ
- How do I get legendary units?
- You must merge two tier-two units together. The resulting tier-three legendary unit depends on the traits of the units you combined, such as gaining the Legend Eagle by merging piercing units.
- What happens when my crown health reaches zero?
- You enter 30 grace seconds where your crown health drops to zero but you receive a burst of gold. If you heal above 18 health points before time runs out, you survive.
- Why do some enemies take less damage?
- Different enemies have specific resistances. For example, armored enemies take more damage from piercing attacks, while swarm enemies are highly vulnerable to area-of-effect and control units.
