Tower Defense Games

Protect your base from incoming waves of enemies by building towers, placing traps, and managing your resources.

About Tower Defense games

In these games, you need to stop waves of enemies from reaching your base. You might build ink towers on graph paper in Doodle Defense, or place traps along a winding path to stop melting zombies in Zombie Horde: Fortress. Some games let you take direct control of the action, like aiming your weapon in Clay Cannon Coast or gathering supplies during the day to fight nightmares in Toy Room Night Watch. Whether you are merging units on a grid in Crown Guard: Merge Tactics or routing heroes through traps in Dungeon Architect: Reverse Rai, you have to carefully manage your resources and upgrade your defenses to survive.

Questions

Do I just watch the towers shoot?

Not always. In games like Clay Cannon Coast, you aim and fire the weapons yourself, and in Toy Room Night Watch, you actively gather supplies and fight.

How do I get stronger defenses?

You can upgrade your towers using resources you collect during the waves. In Crown Guard: Merge Tactics, you can even drag and merge units together to make them stronger.

Do enemies always follow a set path?

Usually, but in Dungeon Architect: Reverse Rai, you actually place traps and monsters to create the path and route the invading heroes yourself.
