Aether Door: Elemental Depths is a top-down action game where you battle through increasingly difficult floors. In each room, you defeat waves of enemies using heavy melee strikes and chargeable elemental bursts. Defeated enemies drop gold, which you spend in shop rooms for upgrades like extra burst power or faster charge speed. After clearing a room, three mystery doors appear, leading to treasure, monsters, elites, or shops. Every tenth floor features a boss fight against powerful foes like the Rift Warden. The run ends when your 100 health reaches zero.

- Fully charging your burst spell for 1.15 seconds increases its base damage to 44 and significantly expands its blast radius.
- Heavy strikes deal 72 base damage and knock enemies back, giving you space to breathe when surrounded by fast wraiths.
- Frost bursts slow enemies down by nearly two seconds, making it much easier to kite elite monsters and avoid their attacks.
