More about this game
In this competitive block-stacking game, your goal is to outlast your opponent by keeping your board clear. You start with 2,500 credits and wager a minimum of 50 credits before each match. As you drop pieces, gravity pulls them down every 720 milliseconds, with a 420-millisecond lock delay giving you a brief moment to slide them into place. Clearing lines sends garbage blocks to your rival's board. The run ends when either player's stack reaches the very top of the grid, resulting in a win or a top-out loss.
Tips
- Save a straight line piece in your hold slot to easily score a four-line clear, which sends a massive four lines of garbage to your rival.
- Build up a combo by clearing lines on consecutive turns. Starting at combo level two, you will send extra attack power to overwhelm your opponent.
- Perform a T-spin by rotating a T-piece into a tight spot right before it locks to send up to eight lines of garbage.
FAQ
- What happens if I lose all my credits?
- If you run out of your starting 2,500 credits, you can still continue playing. Your wager will simply be limited to the minimum amount of 50 credits per match.
- How does the threat meter work?
- The threat meter on the right side of your board shows incoming garbage. It fills up to a maximum of 12 lines, warning you before penalty blocks are added to your grid.
- How do back-to-back bonuses work?
- If you perform a four-line clear or a T-spin, you activate a back-to-back state. Doing another one immediately after adds an extra line of garbage to your attack.
